FROM CBSS TO THE HARD ROCK AND BEYOND

Samantha LeighWhen evaluating a recording studio, one of the factors that a potential client will ask is, “Who have you worked with?”  That question is usually asked with the expectation that the answer will include not only names but what they have done.

In the case of Crystal Blue Sound Studios, it can’t be a coincidence that many of the artists that have completed projects here have gone on to big stages and markets.  Consider each of the following who have all recorded at CBSS:

(alphabetical by last name)

Faith Angelica – has been living and performing in Nashville for over a year now

Matt Billor – has done multiple performances at the Hard Rock and released his debut CD in 2016

Melissa Brethauer – lived and played in Atlanta, now resides and performs in the greater Los Angeles area, and has even played in Nashville and Las Vegas

Samantha Leigh (pictured) – featured on a Season 1 episode of “Abbey Ridge Live,” she performed regularly at the Hard Rock (among other notable venues) and at Busch Gardens, and has now relocated to Dallas where she is already performing regularly

Shane Meade – has performed many times at the Hard Rock and tours the U.S. and Caribbean regularly

Fil Pate – has performed (with Shane Meade) at the Hard Rock and tours the U.S. regularly with his own band, Friends of Fil

Shevonne Philidor – this former “American Idol” participant has performed at the Hard Rock, among other notable venues

Brooke Sierra – a (performing) Hard Rock ambassador featured on a Season 1 episode of "Abbey Ridge Live"

Daniel Sprouse – having recently relocated to and been playing in Nashville, Daniel released several singles in 2016 and was featured on a Season 1 episode of "Abbey Ridge Live."

In addition, local songwriter/composer Joseph Masciello is ready to release his fourth CD this summer.  Wils Belton is coming off successful CD releases, three to be exact, and released a single in 2016.  And, Leah Clark also released her third CD in 2017.

It’s also worth noting that Adam Smeaton interned at Crystal Blue Sound Studios and went on to full-time work in Los Angeles at Innerscope Records!  And, Shannon Magrane, who finished eleventh on “American Idol” in 2012, chose Dominick Pages of CBSS to do sound reinforcement at a key special event that she performed at in the Tampa Bay area.
